I just wanted to take a minute to write here and tell Neus Carmona and Disha Patel Bonner that I’m so happy that I was part of the Montessori Journey course.

The course is a good resource to start Montessori and helps to organize your ideas about every detail Montessori has for you. It is an excellent course to introduce this philosophy at home.

Thanks to the course, today I’m the leader of a Montessori Mommy playgroup here in Virginia. Which means I need to help mommas that are seeking to introduce Montessori. And I always go back to read and watch the videos from the course to give them the best information.

This course was so amazing. It helped us a lot through the toddler phase. Neus gave a great example of how to teach and work with toddlers in a Montessori respectful way. It is easy to follow and makes you see Montessori as doable at home. Disha’s explanations are great and I’m using them to continue to supplement my daughter's work since she goes to school part-time and will do a lot at home. Also, the course guest speakers are so valuable and insightful. Best class ever.

When the pandemic hit I considered homeschooling and started learning about Montessori. I took The Montessori Journey e-course when my girls were 3.5 and 2 years old. I found it easy to digest for a normal mom like me with little time and no background in teaching. The videos gave me great ideas for my toddler and showed me exactly how to present the lesson. Lots of courses teach you what Montessori is and the history behind it, but not many teach you the “how to” which is what I really wanted to learn. If you’re passionate about Montessori and homeschooling I’d highly recommend this course. Disha and Neus were super helpful every step of the way.

Disha Bonner

Disha Bonner has been teaching in a Public Montessori School for 10+ years. She holds an Early Childhood and an Elementary (6-9) Montessori Certificate. She also worked as a curriculum coordinator for Early Childhood classrooms. Disha's background is in Psychology and she has worked as an Exceptions Student Education (ESE) teacher before completing her Master’s degree in Montessori Education.

Neus Carmona

Neus is a Montessori Mom, Guide, and coach. She has been a Montessori Toddler Teacher for the past 10 years. She also worked as a Montessori consultant for different Montessori Schools.

She holds a Master's in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Montessori Education and 0-3, 3-6, and Parent-Child Montessori Certification.
